Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using Yevedo. They cover your account, how contracts and payments work between clients and providers, and what happens when something goes wrong.

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Yevedo LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Yevedo", "we", "us"). They apply when you use yevedo.com, the Yevedo mobile apps, or any related service.

By creating an account or using Yevedo, you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines and our Child Safety Standards. If you do not agree, do not use Yevedo.

2. Who can use Yevedo

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be able to enter into a binding contract where you live.
  • You must not have been banned from Yevedo before, and you must not be on a government sanctions list.
  • If you register for a company, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it, and the company is bound by these terms.

3. Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. One person, one account. You can hold both a client profile and a provider profile under that account and switch between them.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password private and turn on two-factor authentication. If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and contact us at support@yevedo.com straight away.

We may ask you to verify your identity, your phone number or your payout method before you can withdraw funds or use some features.

4. What Yevedo does and does not do

Yevedo provides the platform: listings, profiles, messaging, contracts, milestone tracking, payment handling and a dispute process. The contract for the work itself is between the client and the provider.

  • Yevedo is not the employer of providers. Providers work as independent businesses and decide how, when and where they do the work.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of the work, the accuracy of job posts or profiles, or that a client or provider will complete a contract. Verification badges mean we checked specific information at a given time, nothing more.
  • Providers are responsible for holding any licence, permit or insurance their work requires, and for their own taxes and social contributions.

5. Jobs, applications and contracts

Clients post jobs or invite providers. Providers apply with a proposal. When a client accepts an application, a contract is created with the agreed price, payment structure (single payment, milestones or hourly) and delivery date.

  • Job posts must describe real work the client intends to pay for. Proposals must describe what the provider can actually deliver.
  • Changes to price or delivery date go through the change request features in the contract. Both parties must accept a change before it applies.
  • Providers submit deliverables or milestones for review. The client approves them or asks for changes within a reasonable time. A client may not use the work while refusing to pay for it.
  • The client owns the final deliverables once they have been paid for in full, unless the contract says otherwise. Until then, the provider keeps the rights to them.

6. Payments, wallet and fees

Payments go through your Yevedo wallet. Clients add funds by card or mobile money. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and mobile money payments by KKiaPay or PayDunya. Their terms also apply to those payments.

  • When a contract or milestone starts, the client's funds for it are set aside. They are released to the provider's wallet when the client approves the milestone or completes the contract, or when a dispute is decided in the provider's favor.
  • Providers withdraw their available balance to a payout method they have saved. Withdrawals can take several business days depending on the method and the processor. We may hold a withdrawal while we check for fraud or a pending dispute.
  • Yevedo charges service fees. The fee and the total amount are shown before you confirm a payment or accept a contract. Processor fees and currency conversion costs may apply and are shown when known.
  • Promo codes have their own conditions, can be used once unless stated otherwise, and have no cash value.
  • You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn or pay through Yevedo. We may be required to collect tax information or report payments to tax authorities.

Funds set aside for a contract are not a bank deposit and do not earn interest.

7. Keep payments on Yevedo

If you met someone through Yevedo, pay and get paid through Yevedo for that work. Do not ask for or offer payment outside the platform, and do not share contact details in order to move the job elsewhere before a contract is signed.

This rule protects both sides: off-platform payments are not covered by our dispute process, and they are where most scams happen. Breaking it can lead to suspension of your account.

8. Disputes between users

Try to settle disagreements in the contract chat first. If that does not work, either party can open a dispute on the contract. The other party has a chance to respond and both can submit evidence.

Our team reviews the contract, the messages, the deliverables and the evidence, then decides how the funds held for that contract are split: released to the provider, refunded to the client, or divided. Our decision only covers those funds. It does not prevent either of you from going to court, and we are not liable for the outcome of your dealings with each other.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: your profile, job posts, proposals, work samples, messages and reviews. You give Yevedo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, copy, translate and adapt that content as needed to run and promote the service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content other users still rely on (for example messages in a shared contract) and copies we must keep by law.

Only post content you have the right to post. If you believe content on Yevedo infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@yevedo.com with the work concerned, where it appears on Yevedo, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

10. Reviews

After a contract ends, each party can leave a review. Reviews must be honest and based on that contract. Do not offer or accept anything in exchange for a review, review yourself through another account, or threaten a bad review to get a better deal. We may remove reviews that break these rules, but we do not remove reviews just because they are negative.

11. Acceptable use

Follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, do not:

  • post fake jobs, fake profiles or misleading information;
  • scam, phish, or ask users for passwords or one-time codes;
  • harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
  • offer or request illegal services, or anything involving the exploitation of minors;
  • scrape the platform, use bots, or try to get around security or rate limits;
  • reverse engineer or interfere with the service.

12. Suspension and closing accounts

You can deactivate or delete your account at any time. See Delete your account. Active contracts must be completed, cancelled or resolved first, and you should withdraw any available balance before you leave.

We may remove content, limit features, hold funds or suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, puts other users at risk, or exposes Yevedo to legal liability. Where possible, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Serious cases, such as fraud or child exploitation, are acted on immediately. Funds that legitimately belong to you will be paid out once any investigation or dispute is closed, unless the law prevents it.

13. Disclaimers

Yevedo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Yevedo and its members, managers and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of Yevedo or from any dealings with other users.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Yevedo is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Yevedo in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US$100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. In that case they apply only as far as your local law permits.

15. Indemnity

You agree to cover Yevedo for losses and reasonable legal costs that result from your breach of these terms, your content, or the work you provide or receive through Yevedo, if a third party brings a claim against us because of it.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes with Yevedo will be heard by the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring the claim in your local courts. Before filing a claim, please write to us so we can try to resolve it.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they apply. If you keep using Yevedo after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

18. General

  • If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a provision right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
  • You may not transfer your account or these terms. We may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
  • These terms and the policies they link to are the entire agreement between you and Yevedo about the service.
