Child Safety Standards
This page sets out how Yevedo protects children from sexual abuse and exploitation, what we do when it is reported, and how to reach us about it.
1. Our position
Yevedo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This applies to profiles, job posts, proposals, messages, files, work samples, reviews and any other content on Yevedo, and to conduct that starts on Yevedo and continues elsewhere.
Yevedo is a marketplace for adults. Every account holder must be 18 or older.
2. What is prohibited
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting or linking to any material that sexualizes a minor, including drawn, edited or AI-generated images.
- Grooming: building contact with a minor, or with a parent or carer, in order to sexually abuse or exploit the child.
- Sextortion: threatening to share intimate images of a minor, or demanding images, money or favors from a minor.
- Trafficking of minors, or job posts that recruit minors for labor, travel, modeling, "hosting" or similar work.
- Using a job, such as tutoring, babysitting or photography, as a way to get unsupervised access to a child.
- Asking a minor to move a conversation to another app or to meet in person.
- Content that praises, normalizes or gives instructions for any of the above.
3. Jobs that involve children
Some legitimate jobs involve children, such as tutoring, childcare or event entertainment. For these jobs:
- The client must be the parent or legal guardian, or an organization responsible for the child, and is the only person the provider deals with on Yevedo.
- Providers must not contact the child directly, through Yevedo or any other channel, or ask for the child's photos or personal details.
- Online sessions must not be private one-to-one video calls without the parent's knowledge. In-person sessions happen with a responsible adult on site.
- Providers must meet any background check or licensing requirement that applies to their work where they live.
4. How we prevent and detect abuse
- Users confirm they are 18 or older when they sign up, and accounts that appear to belong to a minor are closed.
- We may ask for identity verification before an account can work or withdraw funds.
- Job posts and profiles in categories that involve children get additional review.
- Reports about child safety go to the top of our review queue and are handled by trained staff.
- Banned users are blocked from creating new accounts using the same identity, email, phone number or payout details.
5. What we do when we find it
- Remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
- Preserve the evidence, including account details, content and logs, as required by law.
- Report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, as required of US providers under 18 U.S.C. §2258A.
- Report to the police or child protection authorities of the country concerned. In Benin, this includes the Office Central de Protection des Mineurs (OCPM).
- Cooperate with law enforcement requests related to the case.
We do not notify the reported user before reporting to authorities.
6. How to report
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
To report a profile, job, message or file on Yevedo, email support@yevedo.com with "Child safety" in the subject. Include the name of the account, a link to the profile or job, and when it happened. Do not send us the images themselves: describe them and tell us where they are on Yevedo, and we will find them. Reports are confidential.
You can also report directly to:
- NCMEC CyberTipline: report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678 (United States)
- Internet Watch Foundation: report.iwf.org.uk (reports from any country)
- Your local police
